Mine love suet.  They can eat an entire suet cake in about 5 minutes!

It's not too late to learn to to love and forget how to hate.

My chickens don't celebrate Christmas.

Never had a heart to heart religion talk with'em, but fact is I am pretty sure they are non-believers. They pretty much act like heathens.

My girls love raisens!  And the other day I heated some broth, mixed it with Masa (all left over from making tamales), mixed in a few and gave it to them, they LOVED their hot breakfast.

Got my first chicks in March, 2011; 4 easter eggers hens (Morticia, Natasha, Samantha & Lily);  We also have a boxer mix rescue dog (Bruno), two cats (Betty Lou & Fred) and quite a few fish (commonly referred to as 'the fish sticks').

Apples with the skin mostly peeled off, scrambled eggs with shells, giant collard leaves hanging from their roost tree, a pinch of dried kelp, broccoli chopped finely & mixed with a handfull of scratch, brussel sprout petals and a bit of leftover pasta salad

I gave mine what I call "chicken oatmeal" which is their regular layer crumbles, but I mix up some powdered milk for them in nice warm water and pour it in and mix it up! they really like the taste and it gets them to eat more in cold weather.

Mine like cheese, bananas and ham.  When they hear the bag of cheese they come running.
