An hour passed, she wasn't back.
Suddenly, her outline appears in the mist.
"Fuego!" She cries. "There's something out there!" She comes up to him, her fur tinted with blood. "I was just attacked out of nowhere!" She begins coughing, blood trickling from her mouth.

It's over Rodrigo. No more tricks, no more ancient artifacts, no more weapons. Let's see what you are made of, old man!

Mali turns.
There it was.
She ran toward the lake, and before she knew it, she'd fallen into the lake.
Water filled her lungs, she didn't know which way was up.
"Fuego!" She cries, under the water, knowing he couldn't hear.
She hits the bottom of the lake.

"Wha'?" She says, seeing something white at the bottom of the lake. She dive in to check it out.
