The owls flew around the rocks, leading them to the canyon. They flew upwards for a while until they landed.

"Go get the half-breeds." The smokewolf ordered to a bat. The bat nodded and flew off to where the half-breeds were. Another bat landed beside him. "Go get Kovi and Daru." That bat flew off, screeching to another.

The bat landed next to Kenai "The smokewolf needs you" The bat that flew off to Kovi and Daru said the same thing.
