Shot that doe 5mins before dark with open sights I was waiting and hoping for a buck to come on out. Either had to take it or leave it.

He was about 30 yds or so going left to right. For all I know I may have clipped a limb. I wasn’t about to just let him pass without sending one his way.

Not all hunting spots are the same that's for sure like the one I got that doe at you can't see a 100yds to thick. And leasing ya can't cut up folks land lol.
I can't see past 50 haven't made a shot yet

Furthest I’ve shot a deer was right at 40 yds with a muzzleloader. Bow was under 30 yds. Shotgun duck at damn near 50 yds. That duck was absolute luck though. 3.5 inch black cloud bb’s. That was long before I knew better lol
I've taken as far as 150-175yds but most are way way closer! Just means I have more mountain land and hills to drag the darn deer. I do my most at the 50 I know I can reach out there if need be.

@sdm111 you may think it’s nice to still be off but I’m sitting in a tree stand at 36 degrees and raining. No hunting houses here lol
