Not roosting trees like that?
What's that?
Are they roosting in trees like that?
They roost in one out of the picture to the right but always up high even higher some nights.
I used to be able to do that when had a lot of dogs under trees. Forget it is now. GHO's would clean me out in a fortnight or birds would scatter to roost in heavy vegetation near or on ground.
I do my best at watching things no owls that I've seen, got plenty of coons though.
The way I look at it is I can work hard to keep things under control but stuff can still happen. It's bound to happen but I feel it's best for them to range until I want to breed them.

Maybe you should stop training the owls.
I must have a lot more owls than you. I do not know why I have so many, but man they are abundant.
They were already working chickens in trees here even before barn in place. Training did not start until barn went up and they are easier to deal with when birds mostly penned.
You guys want to see a Opossum?
