I'm so tired. We had to be up at 6:00 am so we could be ready by 7:00 and get to the place at 11:00

WOW I haven't been on in forever. And guess what I get for my birthday present you guys? A SHOW LAMB! I'm so excited and happy! 

I'm a southern girl who lives in VA, who owns 3 lovely sheep and 3 dogs. I have had three years experience with poultry, and show lambs and compete in stockmens as well
~God doesn't own a cell phone, yet I still call for Him.
~God doesn't have a Facebook, yet I still friend Him.
~God doesn't have a twitter, yet I still follow Him.

Omg that's awesome. So lucky :) I'm glad you finally get one. I made a website so yay. Have you built the pen and stuff yet?? Were are you getting the lamb from. That's so awesome.

Read what I wrote about Nugget, Nugget is going to be a therapy chicken and do poultry showing demonstrations! I think it's great! 

 

Nugget's show career has ended. I don't want to take the risk of her getting sick again. She has won Champion before, but no matter what she will always be the Champion in my heart. Through thick and thin, through good and bad time, forever. Though she isn't going to anymore shows, I have another thing in mind for her........
 
Nugget is going to represent the chicken world, she will go with me places to teach people what chickens really are, they aren't just your Happy Meal or egg laying machines, they are much more. She may even do poultry showing demostrations.  They are true friends, good pets, and a joy to raise. They don't just poop and lay eggs, they are more important than that. Just think, if chickens never exsisted, neither would the wonderful chicken raising hobby, or the business, or would the many foods baked with eggs and chickens, or would the delight of hatching eggs. Chickens are important in this world, and I want to show everyone that. Just because Nugget won't be coming home with ribbons anymore doesn't mean she isn't special, she will always be special, she is a different hen, a special hen
