Pied vs Split to White?

Ok, I visited the parents of my peachicks today. I took pictures. There are 5 cocks and 2 hens in the pen. Again, the man told me he *thinks* they are IB/Black Shoulder but he's not sure. I would like to know what the babies are or at least what their parents are for breeding purposes. One of the hens was on a nest and camouflaged so you can't really see her. What do you guys think? Thank you.

Cocks one and two are IB, cock five is BS, three looks like one of mine that is IBBSWE, four, we would need to see a side view of but carries some type of white. The hen looks like Spaulding, but the lighting is dark and I am not sure. The hen behind the wire appears to be BS. The chicks from this pen should be like a box of chocolates.

I know! I can't wait to see what the babies will look like! All I am certain of right now is that one of them has 3 white primaries. Excuse me if this is a dumb question but are any of the parent birds pied? I read that pied meant having patches of white. Is that correct?

Cock three and four have some white, pied or white eye in them. Cock four would need to have a side shot to be able to say.

Those are for sure pied peacock ... because if they were split Pied or split White their pants and their bellies were black.
So many cocks in 1 aviary ... next season there will be some deaths!

Thank you for clarifying that for me. I agree with what you're saying about the number of males. All the pens of different animals on his property are like that. The chickens, ducks, pheasants, quail...all have at least double the amount of males. He said he likes the colors and sounds of male animals better...

I will get some better shots next time I walk down there of #4. I'm thinking and its just a guess, that the 3 chicks I have are 2 males, 1 female. The two that I'm thinking are male are double the size and have much bigger legs and feet, then the 3rd. But I guess I have to wait till their about a month old to tell..? I'll take some pics of the chicks too. I appreciate the help!
