I am thinking about trying to raise turkeys. I am doing my research now. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good book?
Thanks!

I have six Japanese Bantams. Five hens and one rooster. Grace, Zoey, Lemon, DeLacey, and DeLaney are the hens, and George Tucker is my rooster. They make up about 1/5 of my chickens. I have all...

My absolute favorite bird! They are smart and sweet. Not aggressive at all. The sweetest rooster I've ever had. Much nicer than my last BO cockerel. They lay frequently but they just have...
Books on Turkey keeping ???
You will learn more here and with your own experence than any book. Turkeys and not hard. Learn the basics and get some and you will figure it out. Keep poults warm, dry, clean, good feed and water. 28-30% turkey or gamebird starter for first 12 weeks then a good 20% feed for life. Don't overcrowd them if there in a pen. An adult trio will need a 10X10 minimum size pen.
I am very new to turkeys and hesitate to offer any advice, but I use "Storey's Guide to Raising Turkeys". I found it on Amazon and use it often as a reference. Great book!
