LES Farms

Breeder of nothing right now.Read our RE-Build of LES Farms Thread.

Lost everything in a barn fire 2/11/13. Can't even pull it together.

Thank you for all the condolences and all the support and donations given to help us rebuild. You are all so special to us.

Please READ my thread about FIRE SAFETY. Trying to save as many others from the little mistakes that cost me everything.

welcome-byc from Washington State
That's great that your son's science fair project led you into chicken keeping! There are lots of great coop plans out there, and much inspiration in the coop section on this forum. smile

Congrats on your new chicks! What breed are they?

I am not exactly sure what breeds I have right now.  I know that they could be Silkies, sebrights, cochin, d'uccles,  and serama.  All of them are suppose to be bantam.  I am new to all of this, but I am enjoying looking after the baby chicks.  Can't believe how much they have grown in one week!  I have been looking at Craigslist, but have mainly seen people selling used coops and none of those really look like what I had invisioned.  I am trying to check their a couple of times a week.

Mark 11:22-23

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
