The Tummy tucking flab busters of BYC 2012 - Page 55

What a good motivator you are, oesdog!

I can barely wiggle my pants over my thighs, and I'm sure I weigh more. Oh wait, it's because my thighs are pretty muscular now, and I've ditched the scale, but I got "guns" on my arms, now, lol!

I am part of my own challenge group now, but we focus on personal goals. I focused on minimizing my sugar intake in February and March, with pretty decent success. Still on Shakeology. Still Crossfit, and I've also implemented Brazil Butt Lift to get my rear in better shape. But my cardio is lacking, so I just temporarily traded my P90x2 (never used) for a friend's Insanity. I'm gonna go for it!

Hay - good your out there!!!!!

You know what they say - "when the cat ( dog) is away etc"! )

I kind of screwed up big time and am not at all happy with myself. I stood on the scale and it screamed back 11 stone 1 lb!!!!!!!!

I was 10 stone 2lbs!!!!! What have I done??????????????????????

I weigh more now than I did this time last year. - Ok I know mummy is gone but that is really not an excuse for me to pig out is it girls?!

Though stress and upset don;t do diets that good I have discovered. At the start I was Off my food for a bit and lost some weight. I was so pleased with myself that I guess I never took much notice after that of what was going into my mouth. I guess seeing family and funeral stuff there was lots to eat and of course lots of meals out as no one wanted to cook much. Also Dad wouldn't let anyone touch anything in the kitchen - it having been mums domain he couldn;t get his head round things being used and moved without her there. So we ate out lots hense the weight piling on!

So now I am back and am going to darn well lose the flab !!!!!!!! But I can;t do it alone I really do need everyone to give me that vital kick up the rear every now and again!

Woo hoo!!  I am now down 14.3 pounds!!  I have to start exercising again.... I have been very very bad about not doing it for the past 3 weeks...... I have been working out in the yard, in my chicken coops and gardening shed.... but need to do regular exercise !!

I know how that feels - You are working all day long rushing about here and there and you think gosh I must have burned callories???? But then you see the scale and wonder how can this be that they remain the same???? Yes it is regular cardiovascular excersize that is what helps reduce the lbs. Unfortunately that is the kind none of us really want to do especially after all the rushing about the day tends to bring.

- keep going. - I am down 4 lbs 10.10 now I was a really bad girl and went up to 11 stone!!!! I was 10.1lb and blew out after mum died.

So now I am fighting back slowely!!!!! It is hard work and all the harder when I realise I weighed less this time last year!!!!!

Oes

Good job on the weight loss oesdog, and goobhen!!!!

I haven't lost or gained, but haven't really been trying, working hard in the garden, everything I do there is w/ hand tools.  But I have an interesting result.  This year I have been eating many many more eggs then has been my normal, mostly so we don't get buried in them.  Anyway we have an anual blood test for our insurance and one of the many things they check is cholesterol and mine and Gary's have not changed at all.  I thought that was very interesting w/ all the hype about cholesterol and eggs, so I can have my custard and eat it too, w/o guilt.

I'm still here! Well, kind of...I haven't made any progress in a few weeks. My 16 month old suddenly decided to boycott naps and sleeping through the night so not only did I lose that chunk of "me time" that I used to work out, I've been so sleepy during the day from being woken up throughout the night that I didn't have the energy even if I had the time. I think I'm finally getting him back on schedule, though, so I'm hoping to get back in the game. :) Failing that, hubby suggested that once school is out and we are together, we could both join a gym with child care. That way we can have some extra  time together and get in shape at the same time.

Hi.  I still  check here once every few weeks, but I've pretty much quit doing anything healthy.  I no longer care.  Good luck to those of you who are willing to keep fighting.
