Looking at all of these great coops makes me want to redo the second hand one we bought or at least add on to it lol It has since been painted green to fit in with the area it is in so it doesn't stick out so much, has been fenced all around it too. It is fairly roomy in there but my 6 BR chicks (now 13 days old) won't have anywhere to roost in there when they finally get to move in there & finding a space to put nesting boxes is driving me insane
. Was thinking of building an add on to it on the right hand side of it that will give it some more height = room for roosts ..... any ideas appreciated from any of you wonderful coop builders!
Needless to say, it looks nothing like this now! Waay more shavings and bales of straw stacked up for them to play on. (Which they quickly dismantled and spread over the floor to give it that 'lived in' look) There is also a broody pen to the right and a dust bath to the left. It's come a long way in 5 months! Lol.
