Hi Matt,

I also live in San Juan Capistrano and own about 12 chickens at the moment.  One of my beautiful white Silkie's just started crowing and now I need to find a new home for him.   It's so sad when that happens.

We do get attached to our chickens. I have 11 hens at the moment. The first Roo I had was the nicest bird and I ended up giving him to a lady in Yaciapa. The second Roo was a freak and I wasn't attached attached. So, I didn't feel bad getting rid of it. The biggest problem is most people don't want Roos so getting rid of them is difficult. What part of SJC do you live? I live in the neighborhood across from Ambuehl elementary school.
