What do you suppose would come of this cross?

Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

Thanks!

That is the answer I got on another chicken forum. I might hatch some out next year and see how quickly they grow and how big. If they are worth feeding it might be a cross for our place!

They could be white or Black/barred. White Plymouth Rock should be recessive white but sometimes they carry the dominant white gene. If the bird carries dominant white, the offspring will be white. If the white is recessive white then the offspring will be black with barring-like the domi roo.

Yep, they won't look like Delawares, either solid barred or white ghost barred depending if the particular strain of WRs carries dom white. And they should have rose combs.

I have pics of a ghost barred cockerel here in post 69 http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=8134881#p8134881
