Traditional Serama

Does anyone have some serama eggs (3-4) that they'd be willing to give away? I had tried to hatch out some button quail and two serama eggs but none of them made it except one, quail chick. I realized that I had a temperature spike once and that may have caused some of the fatalities. I'm a broke highschool student which is why I'm asking for free eggs

My wife gave me serama eggs for my birthday last May. Two different breeders-ebay. One set gave me a few birds to start with. The other was a rip off. One look at the eggs and I told my wife they were not serama-too large-and, indeed, they were not serama-just large cross breed bantams.

I do not recommend ebay, obviously, but I know you'd find breeders within the group and online. The thread American Serama might provide you with names of breeders.

Hi, I have had seramas for about 8 years now, but up until now i have had them purely for pets. I am now trying to begin breeding for quality in my birds. I am very interested in table top showing and i have to be honest, I'm quite confused between the "traditional" and the "American" seramas. I have seen the definition repeatedly of what the makes a serama "traditional" but i can"t make sense of it. Is a traditional serama the same as an American serama, just with slightly less regulations on its appearance? I have also read that there aren't any penalty's for coloration, does that mean you can breed two birds of different coloration and still have a "show quality" bird? Thank you for your help!! Also, this is a picture of my best rooster, he is not "show quality", as he has a deformation in his waddles, but would he be considered an American or a traditional? He also has some white on his earlobes.
