I bought my first Flock Block today and it fell apart while I was unwrapping it!!! Now it's sitting in a 5 gallon bucket in the building, probably attracting mice and other undesirableshe.gif!!!! I was so annoyed I wanted to screamsomad.gif!! Now I guess I will be using it in place of scratch for a while!

I LOVE my chickens!!!

5 Marans, 4 Sexlinks, 1 Dominiques, 1 Buff,  1 Ameraucana, 1 Game, 8 mixed babies, and 1 who knows what blue, 5 geese, and the neighbors turkey in my woods..... haha~!!!!

Take it back. I bought one & that sucker was hard as a rock. I couldn't beleive the chickens ate it.

I'm out of eggs. But I know where some brown ones are. I now raise big Ol' Honkin' Bob Whites & Layed back Coturnix. Pray For Rain In Texas!

I would but it was cheaper than the ones at Tractor Supply by a LOT, and they will eat it just the same, it's just not going to serve the purpose of a distraction from pestering the little girl (whom I named Genie, short for Genius).

Newbie here, I'm curious if you can also treat them with the bird suet blocks for wild birds.

Good question ! As I've been wondering the same thing. Any one tried a suet block ?

Tried the flock block for the 1st time 3 weeks ago. They MUST love it as it's gone! Now that I know just how much they like it I can give it as an occasional treat.
