i think the main thing that needs to be done is to get some chicks direct from Whiting and see how they grow out... the problem is he will only sell within 300 miles of his farm... by the description on his website it would seam to me to be a different bird than the one we have but idk for sure...

Peyton Creek Homesteaders Swap Meet

There was such a large turnout at the first one on April 20 we're doing it again, Saturday May 18. Any farm or garden related products from goat soap, chickens, rabbits, plants, ect. Had a lot of homemade products at the last one, like homemade butter, rice pudding & baked goods. Lots of info was shared at the first one so if you have something to share.....bring it on. Dealer setup is only $5.00. This is great location on a busy stretch of Hwy 65 between Clinton & Leslie, AR  along side Peyton Creek with this great waterfall as a back drop. There may be some locals playing music. It should be a good time, bring the family....this is a great spot. For more info call 501-205-2705 if no answer please leave a msg. we will call you back or contact us here. Jerry & Hilda....Rocky Hill Farm

I wish we could go-I really hope there will be another one really soon. I hope everyone will have a great time!

I have hatching eggs available in many different breeds (waterfowl, turkey's, quail, some peafowl) they are varied BUT pure. Need to give me a few days to get fresh eggs.
I also have hatching eggs from my layer flock that are made up of many different breeds.
I ship please specify which method you prefer.
Chicks are $3.00 each-LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.
