msheets, do you have trouble with temp differences on the top and bottom? I got mine with 2 turners so how would I go about making sure it's gonna work out?

Do your turners fit on the shelves? It just at the very bottom that is three degrees colder. I was taking my eggs off of the shelves and putting them all the way down at the bottom so they wouldn't fall. When they never hatched I started temping every inch of the incubator and then I finally noticed in microscopic print at the bottom of the instructions it states it is three degrees colder. So basically I was taking them and putting them down to die

I have a lemon cockoo orpington almost through piping and a zipping

I buy the shelf liner from amazon and cut it to fit the shelves then I take a long piece of duck tape and wrap the very end so that it is only stuck on the shelf by an inch or so and creates a soft lip of sorts. When you close the door the tape lip seals the gap between the shelf and the door so they don't fall down to the bottom.

I have noticed the temp difference & I've found a way to fix it. I keep my reptipro set at 104 all the time, then my top shelf is steady 101, middle shelf 100 & the very bottom a low 99. If you have enough eggs to fill all 3 levels then just rotate them every day or every other day, so the eggs on the top shelf are on the bottom & middle shelves the same amount of time.
I'm so glad we have 2 more members joining the Reptipro hatch a long! I have to say Melissa I'm a little jealous of you though....you have 2 Reptipros & you have eggs due today
I just got my eggs today, 32 Japanese bantams, 7 OEGB & 2 Jap X OEGB crosses...I'm more than excited, japbantams2011 is always good to me lol, I ordered 35 & she sent me 42
Jen, did your Reptipro come yet today?

I'm thinking about putting a few emu eggs in mine....
I'm going to also, after these hatch I'm going to pick up 4 eggs from a farm 2 hours away, I'd get them shipped but it seems the bigger the egg, the more damage is caused during shipping. With emu eggs being 6 inches long, after measuring one & my incubator I really think I could fit like 6 in it...

Melissa that's a really good idea about the Rubbermaid shelf liners, I've been wondering what I could use & that's perfect! I was going to use the wire that's in the bottom of the LGs but didn't want to cut my LGs up...
Also about the rice, I've never heard of that so thanks for another tip!

I was panicking when I candled my orp eggs right before lockdown
The air cells were just too small! I was so very afraid they would drown
In the two days of lockdown it made the air cells shrink to perfect size!!!! I took the rice out last night and this morning they were a pipping
