Mine has the temp difference. So the same. I have a turner, so it's easy to just change the shelves. I have noticed, that I need to change the temp throughout the day and night. Temp changes in a room make a difference in this bator, same as others.
Yin can give you a link to where he gets his thermometers. I ordered some like his. :) I am actually finding, that my bator reads the same as the top shelf temp. as my thermometer in the bator that I bought. Going to watch that throughout this hatch, then not worry about having one in there if it keeps up the good work! Will just need something for the humidity during lock down. :)

Thanks Are you doing a dry incubation? I plan on doing a dry incubation this time. I also ordered mine with a turner. Does the turner have another power cord seprate from the incubator's cord? Has anyone tried this thermometer http://www.ebay.com/itm/Egg-O-Meter-EGG-Incubator-Hatching-Thermometer-Bird-/230418319399?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item35a6008827
How the humidity readout on the bator? Sorry for all the questions lol. I don't want to have to go through inaccurate thermometers and Hygrometers again

I am doing a dry hatch..only you will see, that there will be humidity in that bator non the less. So, like Yin suggested, open the door throughout the day. I just open mine when I go into my bedroom throughout the day.
I thought I would see what would happen if I put something in for humidity once the humidity started going down about a week after setting..I put a small piece of paper towel about the size of my pinky fingernail in the bottom. It went up into the 30's, which is good at this point for me. It stayed like that till morning. I just have to replace a tiny piece of paper towel in there once a day! This thing holds the humidity!
That picture you have there, is not the one I have. I'll see if I can find it, but that one looks good!
Here is one, there are a couple of different names, but they look the same. http://www.amazon.com/Mantello-Round-Digital-Hygrometer-Humidors/dp/tech-data/B005LQXE5G

I knew that! Why did I say "his"? Sorry, let's have a good laugh together, I laugh at myself more and more.
When I go to your link..it has my name on it at the top, because I bought this very one..hope it doesn't show up on yours!! Probably because it's coming from my computer. Oh man, time to go turn some eggs, and change shelves in my little 6000. Sorry again yin!
