Yes you place the eggs pointy end down in the carton or storing them and, if you have an automatic turner like mine, because the embryo will form at the larger end.

So they will stand on the little end thought the whole process?

Yes, here is a picture of my automatic turner. The eggs are in the little end down, and when I candle them the embryo is at the big end.

Nobody responded to previous question. I would like to know as well.
I have 2 kids, 2.75 grandkids, 1 dog, 1 puppy and 3 hens, and I luv them all!!
Edit:
I now have 3 grandkids, 4 hens, 2 pullets, and 1 cockerel... For now.
Edit2: 5 pullets
