I'll try to help with your questions chickenscratch...yep, its Fri, Sat  And Sunday....the main bash is Sat at around noon for the main meal with the white elephant gift and this year some suprise games planned for after lunch when bl4 can finally arrive and play too.

 

The food list is for the main meal with usually alot of leftover food...camping can be either tent or we do have hook-ups for electric and water at 12 sites around the circle drive...evrything is free will offering except the electric hoos for campers, that's $6 per night. Very reasonable considering no other fees apply, except for the free will collection. The lodge also has 2 bunk rooms that also can be shared by all....nice restrooms in the lodge also.

 

Yep, folks bring the children...nice swings and games there for all to enjoy....this is a family Bash!

Just keep them away from Bigfam once her claws wrap around the jar of boozed cherries & she won't let go. Then the potty-mouthing shall begin when we try to get her to share them. 

Noooooo... I'll have to behave! My kids will be along. I don't drop the f in front of them (unless one of them is incredibly close to being murdered...!). Besides, the more kids, the better the distraction for my kids. I don't want to chase them all the time so I can shoot the sh!t. Sounds like my hubby might bail on me too. So CC's babysitting service will need to be open...

BF4M...simply grab the OM by the hand and tell him you're going to the bash. He's gonna miss out on a great time....He will be whinning about getting tired of hearing about it when you get home otherwise. Tell him he said GO not NO and he can't change his mind.

Hey Bigfam, Your OM DH has to come. We need to see this dude in person that puts up with you on a daily basis as we all do here !!!  My OM DH went last year and he isn't really into the chickens as much as me, except he does feed and water in the mornings. He had a great time talking with the guys and shooting the Sh!t !! We even stayed over night (not planned) cause we stayed so late.

When I asked him what color Tshirt he wanted this year Blue or Green I thought he was going to say he didn't want one........... Cause well, he is a party pooper most of the time...... and he said RED !!!! Surprised the heck out of me !!! LOL

 

He ran out of Tshirts for work (someone didn't do laundry ) one day and he wore last years Bash shirt to work !!! Hope he didn't ruin it cause he works with coolant on the grinding machines.

 

So he had better come. He will be fine !!! Tell his you won't dish out, no free meals unless he escorts you to the bash. But tell him to wait for the 2 sec drill till AFTER you get home from the bash. None of that nonsense at the bash !!!

 

PS I want the 3 yr old !!! But if he gets naughty he's going to CC !!!

I'll take him! And he'll speak just fine after I'm done with him. Or is that considered french? 

 

My DH grumbled the entire ride up to the bash, completely convinced that he would be "utterly miserable" the entire time. Well, he's barely stopped talking about "the next bash" since.
