It didn't take long for The Lucky-13 to leave the earth's atmosphere and for Micro-Gravity to kick in.  As Connie looked out the side of the canopy, the view was simply incredible. (and by 'incredible', Perry the Platypus, of course I mean...Completely Credible! =P) Although, there were a few other things on her mind.

Jadyn sat petting Zak.

(yes, yes I do =P)

Connie began swerving the ship back and forth, weaving through a large debris field.  Most of the space-junk was destroyed remains of old ships, but there were a number of old satellites as well.  After about 6 minutes, Connie began flying right towards what appeared to be just another one of the pieces of space-junk.  Then, as they approached, it became clear that it was no piece of debris---it was a space station.

Jadyn had her eyes closed, hoping that the ship wouldn't get hit.

"Sheesh girl, have a little faith." Connie said, rolling her eyes.  As The Lucky-13 coasted slowly through the hanger-bay shields, Connie set the ship down gently and said "Welcome to Sky Net; population: us."

"Very reassuring..." She muttered.

"Chill girl, that just means that we're the only ones here." Connie said as she unstraped herself from the seat harness.  She hopped down from the ship and Shifted into a raptor; using her better vision, she found the main power switches. The passive life-support always remained on unless power was cut-off to it completely, so the inside of the abandoned station seemed just like the atmosphere on earth, but the lights and most of the other systems had been off since before they came in. Connie switched on the lights and a few other things before changing back into a human. The inside of the station was completely iluminated after the few seconds it took for the lights to start up. She walked back over to the ship and said "Come on out, there's a lot of neat stuff to do here."

Jadyn muttered something that couldn't be heard as she let Zak out, then climbed out herself.

(gtg, I'll be back 2moro  lol, we just took our X-mas tree down like 1 hour ago [I like to hold on to the holiday spirit as long as possible])
