Bugs & Problems With The New Platform - Page 5

Running Google Chrome 16.0.912.75 on a 16 meg line

There are a few places where the print is not displaying correctly. I.E. Overlaying (ill have to check for I.E. and Fox)

Overall speed of site is ok, load times are fine, yet the scrolling down through a page is a bit jerky and slow.

Avatars and print in that area are really low res.

Suggestion (not bug) Can you add a sort to the data base for brown / white egg layers in Breeds section?

I am not receiving email notifications for subscribed topics that I subscribed to today.  I have to keep checking back to see if there are new posts and there are. 

I guess that I should mention that I use Firefox and just updated it on Monday.  I have also noted that when scrolling, it is very jerky and slow.

  Mine was almost like back to dial up for a bit. I downloaded Firefox and things picked up. But the scrolling does seem a bit "jerky" to me. It doesn't roll smooth. Is that a bug or just complaining?

Mine is loading very quickly.  I do have pictures missing, though, on a page that I made.

On the old forum, I had it set to show 50 topics and 50 replies per page so I didn't have to go to the next page so frequently.

BTW - the site is loading very quickly for me.

If you are a GFM or PPM, in your profile, go to "Edit account details" and scroll down to "Forum Preferences." There you should  see a drop down list that gives you options for how many posts per page you want.

It's because of the conversion. It marked everything as unread when they switched over, so it's not a bug. :)

2 is because this platform supports larger photos for  avatars. To fix it, you can change your avatar. A good size is 640x480.

3 is on account of the right column showing ads/reviews/who's reading the thread. The top few posts are shorter and the last ones are regular sized. You could try adjusting your zoom level on your browser.

You can fix that in your profile under "Edit account details." With the conversion everything got put back to default, even for GFMs and PPMs.
 

using Firefox, the spell checker does not work in the reply box. it gives you the option to paste. usually if you right click an underlined word it gives you the correct spelling of the word. but I just now spotted the spell checker icon on the far right of the reply box. so never mind I can use that. am having problems trying to embed pictures already in my BYC album, can only get the link to the picture to embed in the message. works fine if I upload directly from my hard drive, but no option to embed from my BYC album, will keep trying on that one, I am sure its because I am missing something.
