Is there a way to turn off the stuff on the right hand side?

Members pages may be an option. Reviews of poultry related items. And the list goes on and on once we get the other things worked out. Many options and nothing set in stone.

btw, I love the idea of context relevant member pages- i.e. pages of people who posted on the page you are viewing appear in the right hand sidebar.
 
The stuff on the right-hand side slows my computer WAY down to the pont that it takes a minute or more to load a page!!!

I honestly do not mind the ads and reviews but I DO MIND the EXTREMELY SLOW PAGE LOAD TIMES!!!!!!

I often visited websites in the 1990's that loaded MUCH faster and more efficiently.

I find the management's attitude here to be highly patronizing and insensitive to the needs of rural residents and folks on lower incomes who may not have ultra-high-speed computers and connections...but who DO have chickens!!!!!!
