Hi folks... I would like to come if I can find someone who is selling BANTAM ameraucana or easter egger hens. I have two araucana roosters and one hen who is coming into lay (just started squatting for me today - I thought they didn't do that with boys around...) and I'd like to get one or two small blue or green eggers to keep her company and distract the boys a bit.

I am looking for a pet quality point of lay pullet or young hen. My araucana are VERY small - they are comparable in size to my 6wk-old barred rocks - and I'm hoping to match weight.

I can bring one of my boys if anyone is interested. He is BBR crossed with a buff, very likely. Pretty boy but very very skittish. I'm looking for alternatives to the soup pot but he can't stay here and nobody has been interested to this point.

Alternatively, if anyone has PET QUALITY point of lay BANTAM pullets or young hens of any breed they are willing to part with, I would be interested in discussing. Please PM in response as I do not check this forum all that often.

Thanks!

The remaining 6 of my original 7 barred rocks are 3yrs old and happily divided between a friend and my mom.
Laying: 2 Partridge Rocks, 1 Columbian Wyandotte and 2 Black Australorps. 14 weeks: 3 bantam Araucana.
Cowed to chicken math and sharing my bedroom with 8 BBS Ameraucana mixes.

I'm definitely interested in Orpingtons. We're wanting 6 hens to "get our feet wet". I'd like to do 3 different kind (2 of each).
The Ellis Compound- 2 kiddos, a hubby, 3 cats, a mini-dachshund, an Easter Egger, a Bantam Cochin, a Black Sex Link, a Lavender Orpington, a Buff Orpington, a Black Orpington, 2 Red Cuckoo Orpingtons, a Mille Fleure D'Uccle, a Blue Wheatan Maran, a Partridge Silkie. 3 growing chicks, a Barred Rock, a SL Wyandotte, a GL Wyandotte, and our White Silkie Roo.
