HELP!!!< MY EGGS WON"T PEEL

Today I went to make egg salad and my eggs wouldn't peel. barnie.gifThey are fresh from yesterday what am I doing wrong or is there a trick to get fresh eggs to peel other than ice cold water that didn't work today.th.gif

We age ours 5 days on the counter and then boil them.  They peel perfectly!

The pack:
1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Easter Egger, 1 Cochin, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Black Australorp, 1 Plymouth Barred Rock
3 rescued pit bull mutts

It's safe to leave on the counter instead of the fridge?
