Would a chicken live alone? - Page 2

This thread is from 2012, but, what's wrong with suggesting a bird be butchered for consumption? Not everyone views their chickens as pets, and a lot of us grow out birds specifically to eat or cull problem birds to the freezer.

I see nothing wrong with giving a bird the best life possible, and then butchering it to feed my family.
