You should look into selling them online.

I don't see how he could make them to sell. He'd make about a dollar an hour! lol.png

I am sooooo happy with this incubator! Everything works like it should. Temps and humidity are always steady. I can finally relax while incubating. It's been worth every minute my DH put into it and he's not stressed cause I'm not stress! lol.png

Wow, that is beautiful, Peepsblessed!  I LOVE the picture window and side door!   And, you are absolutely right about "your husband not being stressed because YOU aren't stressed!"  The first time I incubated, my whole family was a nervous wreck for 3 weeks because I was a mess! barnie.gif

I was using an old Brower with very inconsistant temps and a window the size of a silver dollar (LOL) so it really prepared me for future hatches.  I guess it was like incubating "boot camp"!  I'm really doing better since I got my own incubator and have had some good hatch rates.

Thanks, Cali!! I do love this incubator! He asked me ahead of time what I didn't like about my old hovabator. I had a long list! The little doors were his idea. I had never seen any so didn't even think about how handy they would be. I use them constantly during lock down. :)

You said that the light is just a 13 watt light, and is not used for heating. Well, what is heating this incubator. I have looked through your first post, and inspected the incubator to the best of my ability, and I can still not find what is heating this incubator.

In the beginning there was nothing. God said, Let there be light! And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better. Ellen DeGeneres
also//////// Y'all also need to check out my homemade cooler incubator, my homemade fridge-a-bator, and my cabinet incubator on my BYC page.

He purchased some heating rods that had been used to heat liquids in a lab. There are four of them, two on each side that are a bout 10" long. He found them used on ebay. The nice thing is that if one goes out, it doesn't quit working. :)  Each side is 125 watts.

Oh, I did notice those. They looked like metal 'eye droppers.' I thought those were some type of egg turner holders, and the wood shelf holders were for hatching trays.

Thank you for replying so quickly! I have never seen those used in an incubator before, I bet they work great. They look more reliable than a thin heating coil. big_smile.png
