Wanted: Buff Silkies in VA

Thread Starter

I know I am posting in the wrong forum, but if someone could tell me how to post in the buy/sell archives, I will move it smile.png ( I did not see Create a New thread). I am looking to buy some Bearded Buff Silkies for sale in Virginia, I am looking to get them for my daughter and  we prefer adult silkies, but will buy chicks. You can private message me or reply to this post if you have some, Thanks!  And sorry that I am posting on the wrong forum.

I find the best thing to do is to put a note in your signature area, that way everyone sees it everywhere you post.

I did that when I was looking for a used Brinsea incubator - and I got a ton of replies.

Good luck

One Norwegian Fjord,  4 British Shorthair cats, One darling husband............and getting ready to start a new life in N.C. mountains (summer 2014 when youngest graduates from high school).

..............and (drum roll)...........one brand new Papillon puppy who joined us in November!!

I haven't been able to find any nice buffs here in Va.Alot of smutty and PQ but that's about it.

Good breeders in Maryland or you could order eggs to hatch.

I don't know why it's so hard to find them.

Here is some links for you to check out for other hatcheries. I originally bought my first kids from McMurry

Chick Order Companies I order sexed chicks and they say 90% chance of hens only for .50 cents. try and non happened to be roosters. When they asked if I wanted peanuts (roosters) I said no. Peanuts are used to pack the boxes tighter with additional birds so they are not flopping around so much. If you do not mind having 3 to 5 roosters in addition to what females you order say OK however I have heard that getting rid of roosters other than for freezers is hard to do, no one wants roosters.
