Found Sweet PDZ at Tractor Supply (Taunton, MA), 25 LB for $9.99. Going to get some and make our poop board before the chickies are big enough to move in!!!

PS When I grow up (and have more $$ to work with), I'm getting your coop kit!!!!

I haven't read through the whole thread, but how about using the PDZ as the the bedding/litter for the entire coop? It may be a little expensive if you have a large coop though, but for a smaller one I would think it should work great. Has anyone tried this?

Wow, thats a nice coop, I feel like a slacker, I never thought about painting the inside of my coop lol.

Mine is still in the construction phase but we put the nest boxes under the poop trays so I'll post some pics once its finished; right now its housing all the lumber since its been raining.
