Need a little help with genetics

Can anyone point me in the easiest manner to a thread or website that has succinct genetic info for breeding chickens? Items like dominant traits, etc, etc? Please? Finding this info has been almost impossible.

Or maybe I am looking in the wrong places?

Still, HELP

The problem is that chicken genetics is not succinct. Chicken genetics is far more complicated than mammal genetics. The best thing to do is ask a question or questions about a specific bred variety. Or about some thing you have in mind.

True, but a couple of good websites are:  http://kippenjungle.nl/basisEN.htm#basisEN, http://sellers.kippenjungle.nl/page0.html and http://chickengenetics.edelras.nl/  Hold off on that last one until you have a handle on the first two.  Note that the sellers site is a bit dated, but it is still a good starting point.

If someone already has a fairly good understanding of genetics in general, learning chicken genetics is undoubtedly easier than for someone with only a minimal understanding.
