Long is putting it mildly.  They take FOREVER to lay, and it will drive you crazy!  I think my first one started laying at 34 weeks.  Nice size on the eggs though.

Beautiful eggs. Congrats, that is so neat! I ordered a Barnevelder, Welsummer, and Black Copper Marans. They are set to arrive in April. I can't wait.

Love the Welsummer eggs. They make a beautiful carton with our EE's green & pink. Congrats!  clap.gif
