Hi

Sorry about the delay in replying ,you know life is very busy, dogs, chooks,family, house, work just to mention a few.We are in fernside.I work from home so if I get a break I pop down to the hens for a chat,boy you can gobble up a hour just doing water, feeding etc.See your profile photo is Bullies?

We used to have 1  10 years ago ,she was born deaf but still a lovely dog.

Do you concentrate on any specific breeds of poultry? cheers verna

Bully pit crosses, only the old boy left now. We're in ohoka and kept a few different breeds, mostly bantams.

The difference between pets and pests is only on which side of the fence they're standing... keep your animals in your own property.

I have a good friend in Takaka who I've been meaning to visit for years now.  He has lots of animals, including lots o' chooks, running around.  Don't know how far that is from Christchurch, but I'll send him the link.  See you when I get there,  P

hey I live in the bay of islands northland. I had silver campines for a while. full of character, just awesome. but man they can fly so they had to go the vege garden was suffering.
