Central Florida Poultry Breeders Association Show, Tampa State Fairgrounds, Sat. Mar, 3rd - Page 2

the easiest way we wash ours is to stand in the shower and wet them soap them and rinse. I tried the three tub method that everyone talks about but my birds are way to big to fit into tubs.  If you google how to get a chicken ready for a show I am sure you will get some info. There used to be a great thread on here but cant find it any more since the change.  The show provides the cages and most supply some sort of feed We usually bring our own food and water its easier on their systems not to change .

Is there someone there to feed and water, or do I need to be there a couple times a day to see that they have feed and water?? Thinking I would like a judges opinion of my birds, but I am an hour and 1/2 drive away. ...stan

My family is looking into getting some chickens. Would a show like this be something we can attend, or is it mostly only for chicken owners showing their animals?

Any suggestion would be great. Thank you for your help.

It would be a great way to learn. I would definitely go. Many BYC members will be there. We will have a BYC table set up. If you go stop by the table and say hi.
