Well I didn't think about hatching out for Valentines Day but I would guess that I might have a few then too.
I am about a day and a half behind you. I just put them in at mid-night tonight Sun./Mon. I have to kind of go with my work schedule. Still up trying to make sure the bator is at the right temp. I had it all set up then the family moved it so had to start again.
I put in 4 Ameracauna eggs and 15 eggs from my LF Black Orpington show string. I'll also put in any eggs I get tomorrow, I'd like to have 20 at least. The Ameracauna eggs are my testers as I know they were fertile a few weeks ago before they went into molt. I plan to candle next Sunday 1/29 on day 6-7.
Have not hatched eggs in a bator for over 15 years. See signature line on my latest adventures with chicks! Will try really hard not to mess with it once it is set, using an LG I got for FREE, its a good price to me! Humidity 34 & 39 check, temp. 99.5, 98, and 94 crud well I think I can stay awake another 1/2 hour, under is better than over. This is my first hatch on BYC so, kind of excited to share this adventure with you all!
SuttonHeritageFarm can you incubate turkey eggs with the other two poultry varieties?
