I think EE's are the cutest chick breed I have ever seen! There puffy cheeks are irresistible!

My sweet puppy, Maggie (1yo), 3 adorable baby pet rats, Darby, Lilah, and Faye, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, a goldfish named Ghoti (pronounced "Fish"), 1 Khaki Campbell duckling, 1 Magpie duckling, and lots and lots of chickens!

Laynadon those are great close ups of your chicks and chickens.  Did you change them to black and white and sepia in your camera or on the computer?

I will candle tonight for my first 7-8 days!

40 feedstore mixed flock layers, including 7 of last fall's unauthorized chicks, 11 SQ LF Black Orps, herd of 11 Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, and Saler cattle, four cats, and one lazy, loud red healer!

Hatching/adding to my LF Black Orps, and some blues/splashes too. Working on self-blue project Orps & Speckled Sussex. Thinking about trying Diamond Jubilee Orps. Show season complete, points earned!!!

Thank you. I did it on my camera. Close ups are the one thing my camera does without argument. Action, zooming, etc. Nope. I hate my camera sometimes. -_-

Ooh! Ooh! Let me know how candling goes! *sigh* I miss incubating already. My potential customer hasn't called back yet. I want to turn me some eggies again!

She is actually an ivory/butter color.  The man did have one lighter "Americana", so I'm thinking it must be her baby.  I hope she is a hen so we can keep her. love.gif

Here's a closup of her (a little sleepy).  Depending on how her color changes, I want to call her either 'Sunshine' or 'Ginger'

Me too!  The chipmunk ones are cute too.  I was a little disappointed I didn't get more variety in colors.  But, I keep reminding myself that we just wanted 1 or 2 more hens for their eggs. :)
