hen or rooster?

We got four bantams 2 months ago. They are about 4.5 months old now. At first we though this one was a hen. I've never heard it crow but it looks/acts more like a roo now...  Opinion? 

 

They all got along to begin with then tried to peck their brother to death so I saved him and he is now a pet. There is just the three of them after that and they get along fine. 327.JPG

My sweet puppy, Maggie (1yo), 3 adorable baby pet rats, Darby, Lilah, and Faye, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, a goldfish named Ghoti (pronounced "Fish"), 1 Khaki Campbell duckling, 1 Magpie duckling, and lots and lots of chickens!

I think I see the beginnings of saddle feathers on the rump...so I'm gonna say roo.

Owned by two pugs, a calico cat, two rabbits, a crested gecko, 9 large fowl, and 7 bantams!

Very handsome boy!

That's what I thought... I have four roos now... At least he's good looking. :)

I'd rather him be a pretty little hen but at least he's not ugly... You should see their brother that they tried to kill. Scrawny looking thing. Not to mention he has a bald spot on the back of his head.   But I love him to death. I guess we are getting rid of the other bantam roo because he's not as pretty and our bantam hen likes this one more.

Oregon born and raised. 3 Labrador Retrievers, 1 Cocker Spaniel, 2 cats, 2 bunnies, 10 hens, and 3 rooster. The flock consists of 3 Barnevelders, 1 Barred Rocks, 1 GLW, 2 Speckled Sussex, 1 Langshan, 1 Australorp, 1 Brahma/RIR, 1 BLRW and 1 Delaware. And 10 Barnevelder/ Speckled Sussex 2 month old chicks. An animal lover for life!
