He may 'try' you again.  Just reaffirm the fact that you are larger, stronger, and meaner.

I had 1of my 2 Black Australorp roosters start trying to intimidate me. I kicked him back but he stood his ground. I kick him until he backed down and walk off. He has not bothered me since.
