yeah, cornish rocks, and i think they must be roos. usually 5 month old pullets don't have such combs unless they are a productiion breed.

mmmmm they might be white orpingtons , with the red comb and wattle you should either be getting eggs or crowing.

An egg by any other name is still an egg

They look like Cornish crosses, if only based on the size of their legs!

They are huge! But I was told Cornish cross would not have survived this long.

No crowing and no eggs yet.

The reason yours have not died yet is because they have not been eating "meatie" food and I would guess you dont keep a light on them all day. They are Cornish x and if hens, will not lay efficiantly. But anyway, I like your little barred guy!

I currently have five chickens, a bantam partridge wyandotte, buckeye, Goldlaced wyandotte, Delaware, and a buff orpington cross. My banty recently hatched 3 chicks a whos moms were a rsl, bo, and a aruacana and all share the same father a cuckoo maran. And 26 broiler chicks.

Will they lay at all? Is it worth keeping them?

The little one in the background is a indigenous South African Koekkoek and she is my only laying bird at the moment
