Come On AC we want some eggs! - Page 8

That' too bad. But congradulations on your brown egg!

I have five hens and two pullets- one seven year old red star, Luna, one white leghorn, Sage, one SLW, Pepper, one adorable fluffy EE, Bedazzle, and one black star, Buckbeak. My two pullets are Nutella, my wheaten marans, thirty five weeks, (who is yet to lay an egg!), and her best friend, Sammy, seventeen weeks.

I love this thread! I've had a Black sex link and a white rock take 31 weeks to lay!! I was so frustrated!

I tried everything! I guess they are ready on their OWN time! LOL!! lol.png

Hope your girl lays soon! hugs.gif

Thanks - I know she'll lay when she lays - but it's sooooooo frustrating waiting :)

No eggs yet from her :(   Here she is at 31 weeks old sunning herself in the run.

Both sets of chicks are doing great - they are growing up fast.  The ones I hatched from Bandit are now 6 weeks old and merged into the larger flock as of yesterday.  They are so cute - they look alot like my rooster.

Poor dear AC, you are now 32 weeks old yippiechickie.gifand still no eggs.hit.gif

However, do not despair - there is always hope my precious.  You will lay your eggs one day soon. hugs.gif

And on that day all this messy longing for eggs will disappear and your beautiful egg will glow from the nest box.  And we will celebrate!

I'm so sorry to tell you this AC, but you are now 33 weeks old and haven't laid an egg.  barnie.gif

The Silkie just laid her first egg - and she's a mere 24 weeks old.  wee.gif

Are you waiting for something?  Are you not planning to lay ever?  Do you just enjoy hanging out without the pressure of producing?  I don't want to make you upset, but you MUST lay an egg soon.

The clock is ticking!  TICK TOCK! caf.gif

Here is the Silkie's egg I found today...wouldn't you like me to take a picture of your 1st egg too?

Got excited earlier today when AC was walking around clucking what sounded like the egg song and then she went into the coop, hopped into the nest box and turned around! False alarm, no egg, but at least that was a step closer to laying. Maybe soon!
