I started with chickens like many people do, I went to the hatcheries for my first ones. Now I know better, and I have decided on the australorp chicken as my egg layer of choice. I want to hatch my own layers to replace old laying hens.
I am looking for someone who breeds for egg production and culls out poor layers etc from their flock. If anyone knows of such a breeder please point me in that direction.
They must be NPIP as well.
