splash silkie at 5 months

Here is my pretty splash silkie... it is about 5 mo old. I am thinking roo at this point. Much bigger than 2 other siblings and I think I see streamers. Bigger comb than other two although not as big as some combs I have seen out there. Also if you are a silkie expert... if it is a roo and I wanted blue or splash babies is the answer a blue or splash hen for those?

thanks everyone

It looks pretty rooish to me at this point, but I'm definitely no expert. As far as breeding, splash x splash= 100% splash. Blue doesn't breed true, so I think blue x splash would give you blue, black and splash babies.

still looking like a boy. Comb is not huge, but wadles are getting pinkish. Would a hen get red wattles with a silkie or just a boy? It is 6 months.

That's a really small comb for 5 months. It does look like it has some streamers starting but I'm not convinced it's a boy. But then again the pink in the waddles sounds boy...

I'm pretty sure that it's a cockerel. Handsome Roo indeed...

A Rottweiler (Roxy), a Labrador retriever (Gypsy), 2 breeding turkeys (Rosco & Vanilla), 2 goats (Charlotte & Oreo), a horse (Maui), her colt (Tex), half a dozen ducks, and a yard full of chickens...
