Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye or both - Page 2

I am really impressed with these goldeneyes.  I went out in the row boat today to check the wood duck boxes and these little guys followed me all the way.  Not even slightly spooked.

I don't know why I was reluctant to get some divers in the past, they are very entertaining.  Red heads may have to go on the want list.  They sound great for a mixed collection and do have a cool look, not to mention they are very reasonably priced.  Thanks for the suggestion.

i was reading you post and interesting to say the least. I raise both the Common and Barrow's Goldeneye and the barrows by far are my favorite birds.. my male is such a camera hog!

i also have the buffleheads but mine are aonly aggressice towards each other and that is beacuse I lost o ne of my hens last year and the two boys fight over her.

On anotehr note though. I think I would have a stroke if I let thos price birds on my pond.. I am sure they would just fly away.

Good luck... Now I am thinking about putting divers on my pond :)

Tough choice, nice bird both.  love.gif

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????
