Help - Stopped getting email subscription notifications - unsubscribing??? - Page 6

Is it possible there is some sort of glitch with the receipt system? The BYC servers aren't recognizing when we've checked a thread and are due for another notice that the thread has been updated yet again? The re-subscribing thing has me hoping ....

i am not getting emails now. they stopped a few days ago. i use yahoo mail. they are not in the spam.

brad and the flock of black sex-links, easter eggers, white leghorns, welsummer,  buff orpington, silver pencil rock and a bunch of rescue parrots

I don't think the issue is with email. I think the issue is with recognizing that we've checked in and need to be updated. I get one email notification for each new thread - and each new subscription. Nothing after that - unless I resubscribe.

That is what is happening with me now.  I unsubscribe, resubscribe, get one email and then nothing.

I don't have help at my place except the goats....  Well um they are just company you cant turn your back on.... more like hyper active neighbor kids coming to see what your doing..... Well they aren't much help at all.... Oh well.

I am having the same problem but it's strange that I get notifications from some of my threads and not the one thread that I frequent most.  If I unsubscribe and resubscribe I get one email and then it stops working.

I got my original email that this thread had been updated last night, but didn't receive anything again since that one notice. And there's been a bunch of new posts. I'm logged in at the top, so I'm not sure what's going on.

 

I also didn't get any other emails from BYC in the last 12 hours except notifying me that I have a new PM. I'm certain that both the Valentines Day and Easter Hatch Threads have been updated in the last 12 hours ;) I'll go check now to be certain.

I was thinking that I used to see a red mark on the threads that I was suscribed to when I was on the recent posts page....am I crazy? I don't see any of them on there now.

I have a huge list under my subscriptions page and I can see that people have posted but I have no email notice of it. Last night I got two...this thread and a new one I subscribed to...then nothing more.
ETA: the ones subscribed to also do not have an unsubscribe button at the bottom...it still says subscribe...is that different too?

Nevermind...red X is on the home page list of posts
