Shop The Coop sells an infared bulb that doesnt give off light so your chicks can go to sleep at the natural time. The thing is awesome. They also make a 250 watt.

Make shure to test the ecoglow to make shure its working properly , I got a mini eco bator and it just broke the first time I tried to use it I had to send it back . Brinsea from all I hear makes good products but that dosnt mean that one cant be defective once in awhle. I am so sorry you lost so many chicks. What else was diffrent about where those chicks were anythig?
