I love all the pictures, though it was a bummer to see the chem cloud in the one.We get daily, what I now call * x clouds* ,over us for the past few months. I was hoping the spraying was not national/global,but I guess it doesn't matter anyway since we can't avoid it.  I called the city to ask what was being sprayed, but they just say,"Sorry can't help you with that." and hang up.

Anyway great pictures otherwise!

These photos were taken with an ancient Nikon Coolpix 5700.  Found on the floor in a closet at work,  this basic camera has indeed awakened the dormant photographer in me.

My camera isn't great, my clear pictures are pure luck!  I have a Samsung camera, 12.2 MP, 5X zoom.  I've always dreamed of a canon camera, but they cost as much as a chicken coop!  So I think, chicken coop or camera?   I think you know what I choose.  wink.png

Those pictures I posted were older ones taken with a Kodak DX3500 2.2 megapixel. I now have a Nikon Coolpix L22 12 megpixel that does lots more things and takes better pictures in low light, but that old Kodak wasn't too shabby in its day.

I am not a very good photographer, mostly because for me photos are an after thought.  I have 3 nice cameras, but 2 are specifically for macro photos underwater so most of my photos are while scuba diving.

I travel to a lot of tropical destinations and one of my other hobbies is sculpting for scale dioramas, usually of nature, here are a few photos from trips I have taken that inspired different pieces on my models.

This is a small piece of the model just so you can see what I do with the photos I take, it is in 1:22 scale (meaning every inch on the diorama is 22 inches in life)

Finally, here are some underwater photos I have taken.  The first was the only published photo of an adult bantom basslet at the time, it still may be the only photo of this species as an adult,  it was taken at about 180 ft deep of the West Palm Beach coast using mixed gasses to dive.
