I think it would be great if there was a BYC page with all of the Look-A-Like Pics that have been entered in all the various contests here.  They always make me smile when I see them!  It would be a great pick-me-up whenever I needed one if they were in one place.

I just tested the temp with my cooking probe that I used for the LG and although it says 100 at the top of the eggs like my other thermometer they both say 94 at the bottom of the egg!  No wonder they are so late, wet and dying.  This last chick is much more lively since I gave it sugar vitamin water but the vessels are still pretty big.

Is it a still air? If so then yeah, people get best results hatching at 102 F measuring at top of eggs.

There's so little to fear from hatching even chickens dare. In fact, it's so easy a turkey can do it.

Thanx.  Love the  happy stuff.  It's been a little sad to read about so many chick troubles.  So I am enjoying your happy hatching chick.  Do all EOs hatch yellow?

Good work, SChunn! Hatching is hard work for the incubator operator ... and the chicks, too, of course.
