What is it you are wanting to know that hasn't already been posted? The link I posted was the spreadsheet for just guesses. I don't have the other spreadsheet with all the other information.

Think you can figure out how many chicks will hatch during the Easter Hatch? PLEASE REPORT THE NUMBER OF CHICKS YOU HATCHED ----> HERE (this link is now unlinked)

THIS NUMBER NEEDS TO BE REPORTED BY APRIL 11TH, 2012 AT 11:59:59PM "Mahonri time" MST. This contest is open to all BYC members.

Prize: First place: Brinsea Mini Advance Incubator courtesy of Brinsea! Check out what it can do HERE

Thanks to http://www.Brinsea.com for providing us with this great prize!

Second place prize: 6+ EE's hatching eggs from Hot2Pot

1ST PLACE WINNER:silkymom1986

2ND PLACE WINNER:LeasureChix

Both winners guessed 2900, which was 3 over the 2897 reported by the time due. silkymom1986 cast her vote before LeasureChix, so she wins. Folks who reported their numbers after midnight April 11 were not counted because the rules stated that you had to report by April 11 midnight.

If you continue scrolling down, the earlier posting dates are. Thought the same thing at first.

Wife of 1, mother of 2, grandmother of 3, surrogate mom of 3 horses, 3 (large) dogs, 2 cats, 29 pheasants and too many chickens (of various ages, breeds and sexes), and I am hatching more.

Ditto to all of the above. Congrats to the winners and BIG thanks to Mahonri and his crew. This was awesome!

Ron's point to our lovely sponsors about the feeding frenzy is very true. I personally bought a new thermometer and a new incubator. I now have the Eco-Glows on my birthday wish/WANT NOW list. Hubby has been warned smile.png

X 2 on the thanks to Mahonri and on the new gadgets!   I personally have an "I absolutely need this" list started. droolin.gif

For those of you that came in late or are thinking maybe another hatch a long...here are some things I really enjoyed from this years thread.......

  • Great creations such as brooders, incubators, packing material and my favorite the pedigree boxes.
  • Vicariously watched emu's hatch, tell their toddler/teen story and fell in love
  • Incubation techniques such as dry incubation, stabilizing temps, etc
  • Found out about the Spot check thermometer and purchased
  • Figured out what a water weasel is....still can't find one
  • Was inspired/enabled/peer pressured into wanting to acquire additional breeds such as icelandic, isbar, emu's, alpaca's, peacock, LGD's and many many more
  • How to trap and eliminate pests such as skunks and moles
  • How to scare a momma moose and baby from your pasture
  • Great recipes were shared
  • How to create seed rows
  • How to fix numberous computer/byc/internet or profile issues
  • How to multi quote or put things in signature
  • Found out Who MN is
  • And most of all I really enjoyed visiting with all of you over the last several months!

May your year continue to be blessed with more chickens, chicks and eggs!
God Bless,

Amy

X 2 on this one, too! I learned a TON! thumbsup.gif

Right now, everything around me seems to be burning!  The air is smoky and the valley is thick with smoke.  Luckily, the fire is a safe distance away and on the other side of a little river.  It's bizarre for us to have fires in spring and for so much land to be burning...
