You would think.  Or even that there would be blood or something on the egg, but nope.  These golden comets though, they I get double yolkers atleast twice a week from 3 of them.  I wonder if like humans maybe they are more inclined to have twins lol.

I moved 2000 ft lower down the mountain and I do NOT miss the snow in the least.  I used to wake up, hear that silence and think, "Great, another f......g winter wonderland"  (excuse my almost language, but I had to do all my own shoveling).

But..............I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your photo.  It was so nice of you to clear their path.

She kind of looks like my blue heeler Binion.  He's camera shy though and won't let me take a picture.

Thanks Michelle, I REALLY lucked out.  I was on this thread and thinking about how much I hated (and difficult it is) cleaning the incubator.  I have to about climb in the thing and use a long handled brush.  So I looked on my craigslist and there they were....Calling my name.th.gif

Oh, no.  It's time!

If March 17 we set eggs

then March 7-10 start collecting, using the freshest on set day

and then February 22 move roosters and hens around so that they have two weeks before egg collecting starts to get settled in

I should have moved everyone tonight.  I guess I'll get to do it tomorrow night.  It seems too soon.  Thanks for the unintentional reminder java girl 2!

I need to rummage through the freezer for freezer burnt meat, if any, to cook and cuisenart for breeders and look for any canned mackeral that we bought last year and didn't use.  I shouldn't have procrastinated so long.  Walmart is often out of mackerel for weeks at a time ... so I'm hoping they have some tomorrow on the shelves.  They've been on breeder feed for a few weeks, so they're okay with that.

What else?
