Ain't modern medicine great?

On a good note, it'll at least give me a chance to get the brooders cleaned out since I worked all weekend. I don't think they can wait much longer.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

You'll feel much better once the brooders have been cleaned out wink.png

Thanks.  I just say not counting me because I fill in the voids.  I may be in once, I may be in 4 times.  I may even be in more if I need to be but I prefer to be in 2-3 times.  cool.png

does the color fade with time or is it permanent??    this is how I got in to chickens you know cool.png   my family took me to the fair when I was a kid and they had them on display along with an inubater of them hatching out, I WAS HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!love.gif

We got the chicks the next year. they were meat birds but boy were they fun and the last year when we where not going to have them anymore. my dad wanted to keep one, so we did and he named her miss cluck lau.gif  boy what good memory's of her!!!!!!!!love.gif

Their wing feathers are growing in white, so I would guess it is temporary. I never would have guessed they inject dye into the eggs, and I believe it is illegal in many states to sell colored chicks and ducks.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Now that I've gotten some Chloraseptic throat drops, ibuprofen and Imodium into me, I feel like a new woman. gig.gif

Got some eggs mailed out today and I'll get to the brooders in just a bit.

I think you are right, but I was just asking for my own use. I would never sell colored chicks!!!!!!!!!!
