Fall's GORGEOUS in Maine.

Bucka... love the new egg art!

Make sure to swing down through Alabama, I'll take you to Dreamland for a slab of ribs and sweet tea!  I will even make a homemade banana pudding!  And I promise not to push any roos on you (unless you really want them!)

Love all the art entries. :)
Here is the weather update- :( Storms still goes on in the south, hope everyone is ok.
190

The accumulated snowfall is above my knees, we got 4 more inches last night, and now they say a big storm is coming tomorrow.

Will somebody post a picture of green grass? I think I forgot what it looks like.

But I might see some around here about the time all these chicks hatch, it'll be a multi-purpose countdown clap.gif

It was snowing hard today, and the roads were a bit slippery, but I rather have that than what the southerns are dealing with. I am thinking of them.

You asked for green grass right? This was last summer at my place-

This is now-

BantyShanty

Here's a pic of my backyard Banty Shanty last summer. It's quite brown out there now, but the trees are starting to bud out. My backyard flocks are in this house and an 8x8' shed. There are only about 20 birds back there. I don't have any good pics of my farm, much less green pics...so this will have to do!

Be sure to hit the Kansas area- we have a bunch of BYCers here and we'd be able to introduce you to KS BBQ and excellent award-winning micro-brews.

You could collect an egg or two from each meet-up and have quite a collection from across the country if you ever did do this tour!

Thanks Farmer Boy! I love weeping willows but they don't grow here.

This time of year I always start getting antsy for things to thaw out.

Well let me see, I retired 14 months ago, now I just need to figure out how to quit going into the office every other week.

And I only live 20-25 minutes from you, so we'll probably have to arrange a meeting before you retire. highfive.gif

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.
